This is an impressionistic view of Seattle. It was designed to compare and contrast the color and shapes of the city with the beauty of its natural surroundings. Look for the following Seattle icons:

  • The Space Needle

  • The ferris wheel

  • The Columbia Center

  • The Third Avenue Tower

  • Lumen Field

 

This lampshade is constructed with 12 panels using the stained glass foil method. The images are repeated twice around the lamp. 

The design on the lamp base suggests elements in the lampshade: land, city, forest, ocean, sky, and mountains.
